Oh yeah - Hi all (first post)
Well the banham is my everyday car - i use it to commute 110miles a day in. For that its fine - does about 42mpg on the motorway
I have also somewhat upgraded it - to 1.8 k-series from MGF Means you have the go-kart metro gti handling with stupid bhp/ton, which adds some fun to it! 60mph comes in 5.8secs (mainly due to lack of traction on FWD) and with hardtop on goes upto approx. 140mph. Total weight is 624kgs with 125bhp giving 200bhp/ton - more than an untuned 2ltr seven. Eventually i will tune the engine but its relatively standard atm
The Nova is great! Not that nice to drive really - very hard work, but good fun! rear engine rwd means roundabout fun Is a 1500cc beetle engine on twin 40's, but it feels faster than it is being so low (42" total height). The car is more about the way it looks than anything else, i may change for a more powerful engine eventually, but i'm happy for the moment. I'm lucky to have found one that is in really good nick - interior needs some work though
