I have a 4.0l 1995 and I run it on LPG. It's so easy to fix yourself so you can save £100 per hour (I kid you not), not taking it to the main dealer.
The range on the LPG tank is about 150 miles which is a bit of a pain but apart from that, then go for it.
Watch the amount of room you need in the back seats though, they're OK for short journey's but I wouldn't wanna sit in there too long.
Cheers

Just missed out on laredo, lpg converted left hooker yesterday.
But in terms of legroom in rear, it would most likely, not matter for short trips to and from work, and horse events anyway, as passenger comfort is not encouraged in my book as indeed lpg range on a tank of gas, guess they are a bit juicy on fuel though
