Thinking about getting earlier model for my girlfriend as a daily driver. She's used to Caterham and Integrale so i think she'll be OK driving but anyone with experience of reliability etc??

Get her to take a test drive. I drove one a while ago and it had an awful turning circle. OK on the open road, but takes some getting used to around town.
