I COULDN'T AGREE MORE.. SOME PEOPLE JUST SHOULDN'T BE ALOUD TO DRIVE FAST.. I'VE ONLY SPUN A COUPLE OF TIMES BUT I WAS REALLY PUSHING THE LAWS OF PHYSICS.. TYRES CAN ONLY GRIP SO MUCH.. I HAVE THE STANDARD 15" WHEELS WITH DAMN GOOD TYRES.. A FRIEND OF MINE HAS AN ELISE, THATS NO BETTER ROUND THE BENDS.. THE MID ENGINE SETUP COULDN'T BE BETTER, I DON'T KNOW WHY ALL SPORTS CARS AREN'T LIKE THIS..

The problem with elise is the lack of power..all biased to low end acceleration... Problem with MR2 Turbo is the big fat weight... They probably even out over a track, with the tubby edging on the straights, and the elise edging in the corners. The tubby isn't as bad as people say in the corners. I have been enthusiastic with scoobies, and evos on the twisty welsh roads, and had no problem keeping up, and quite often being quicker. Elise is NOT to be sniffed at on track, and will BATTER many higher powered cars, but the Tubby has the power to gain on straights... Just my twopence!
