Looking at buying one of these as`a daily driver - I know some folks here have or have had them. Any info welcome.
Most around are high mileage (100K+) what are the major problems?
How bad is the insurance (full no claims, getting old)?
Alternative is to spend another 10K & buy a newer boxster - but thats another 10K for fresh air and what else?

Have you tried www.s2forum.com
I know it's only got S2 in the name but it caters for all types (especially the RS2)
There's usually a few for sale on there and the people that use it are really a top bunch who will help with anything.
I know because im the proud owner of a 1991/H S2 coupe, which thanks to the forum has had a couple of mods including being chipped to 270bhp and a quick shift gearbox linkage (a must)
Good luck with buying your RS2, I guarantee you won't regret it

Also check for advice on www.RS246.com
They're just run in at 100K miles. Remember though, that they are now all 10 years old and hence will need a little TLC to look after perishing rubber pipes and bushes. Also worth remembering is that they'll still have the running costs of the £46K car they are, even if you only pay £20K for one.
Insurance is very reasonable: some companies are treating them as a 'modern classic' with limited mileage policies available.
In summary: get one! You won't regret it.
