Hi Guys My names Chris and im the Driver on the Eurospec Evo 6 Time Attack Car 62'' currently sitting 4th In the Championship after the Head gasket giving up the chase and leaving me in 4th Place.

So the Birth of the Car .. Well I have been a Car Nut from a very young age, Being from Wales my Dad used to take me to the WRC as it used to pass the House. So the need to race was installed at a young age. This was further increased with My Grandpa and Father both being involved in Motorsport so it was hard to miss.

So the Evo arrr the pain in my life... Really this has been a painful journey, Much worse than when I expected. It All started last year, I bought a Standard Evo 6 which was sooooo sooo clean, way to clean to Race never mind bump off curbs and occasional grass cutting.

Day 1 - So Clean and I had no intention of doing what I Did

After I drove the Car around for a Few Days it started to get on my nerves and the Car was quickly Sent in For a 2.2 Cosworth Engine Build and S214 Turbo for a Easy 530bhp Fast Road

After a few weeks of Driving this 530bhp Fast Road setup, Once again I got bored and After getting a great result in the Time Attack as a OHW, I decided to hit it hard and the Car took a Massive Transformation in regards to a Full Race engine, Aero the Full works. After Calling in with a Few Old Peeps and Sponsors the Green Light Was on and Eurospec Started the Magic with many Late nights to get the Car ready for the First round of the 2012 Time Attack.

New Engine, Turbo, Rear Aero and Exhaust system..

New V Band HTA Turbo Setup and SS Tial Comp Housing before Coating

Theres So many pictures I've lost Count, So thats just a sample from the past few Months...... The Car is complete but is Changing as we progress we are on the pace and will finish well this year

During events we normally Run 700bhp on E85 to prevent Damage and increase reliability, sometimes less weather and track dependant. We can push upto 800bhp but then risk head lift and Transmission failures which we have already suffered... At high power see below at damage, NEW RS Diff after FEW hours

I will Try and sort it into some sort of Order.

I just want to Say thank you to all the support from my Sponsors and the Team at Eurospec

Good to see Ben, Mark and the boys down in guilford doing what they do best!

Ben knows his stuff. Seen your car being worked on too. A proper monster in the making.

Yea the first build we did was a nice fast road setup and was mega fast with min lag, but the Engine was built with the balance shafts in and few other bits you dont really want on a race car. So after a brain storm we decided to Go with a 2.3 and bigger turbo ..

Romain is my Team mate and yeah hes mega in the CRX, currently running a 2.4 Supercharge 550bhp ways like 900kg lol
