RE: Gerrard's Volkswagen Scirocco Storm
Discussion
Lovely looking car, wish I still had mine! (was identical)
Very under-rated, mine pulled like a train, beautiful interior, superb seats, great for covering ground quickly. Had the speedo hard over at 120mph with more to come!
purchased in '92 with 42k on it sold in '95 with 112k on it.
Totally indestructable.... and I did try!
If it still looks like the photo I'll give you £300 for it!

Cheers, but I won't be selling it - it's the only car that's never let me down (touch wood) - and yes, it still looks as good as it does in that picture (and goes even better!)
The £300 figure was only a guestimate based on a similar age GTX - I've no idea what it's really worth as I've never seen one for sale.

Purchased in '92 for £3200
sold 70,000miles and 3.5yrs latter for £1500 (trade)
Cost me a clutch, shockers, brake pads & discs, only repair was a new oil cooler.
BRMotorsport serviced (only mod was a K&N filter) went like a train.
They say you should never go back, but one day I shall, just hope it doesnt shatter my dream!
How long you had yours? Mine was B989OKV (119CNP most of the time I had it, you may come across pics of it as it regulary attended GTi International) but according to HPI its been written off
