I emplore you to take your new pride and joy down to AMD in Banbury. How does 420bhp, and the most amazing noise since the Messerschmitt ME109 sound to you? If you need proof I have some video footage of mine. Bottom line, 0-60 4.4 seconds, 0-100 in 9.1 seconds, all for just over £2500.

It just transforms the car and on a recent trip to Bedford Autodrome for a Palmersport track day a 996 Turbo owner came up to me after the first round of laps demanding to know what the hell I had done to my car! He was not impressed by the fact I was all over his fat arsed Porsche.

Hello Mate,

Do you have a web site for this company? I have an A8 4.2 and was mighty impressed by an S4 Avant I had a race with last week. I am not sure weather to modify my 2000 model or trade up to a 2003.

I was under the impression that it is Prodrive who are based in Banbury and AmD are based in Bicester.

According to www.auto-amd.com...

AmD Technik
Unit D2
Telford Road
Bicester
Oxfordshire
OX26 4LD

Interesting they're now called AmD Technik. They always used to be Automotive Developments (hence AmD)

Thanks I would love to but i'm in Austria this weekend. I am considering either modifying the A8 or upgrading to the new model!

Apologies for the miss-information. It is indeed Bicester.
