S Reg base 1.9TDi 5 door. It's running perfectly.. has now 100K miles on the clock. Is it wise to upgrade now to a younger mk4 diesel, or hang on to it & drive it into the ground? Annual mileage circa 20K.

Im in a MK3 TDi but the same situation.

I might upgrade though as Im contemplating better GTi TDi instead.

I've run diesels of various makes for years.

100,000 on a modern diesel is 'low-mileage'.

If it does the job you want it to, why change it ?

I'm happier without the debt.
