Best New Car/Van Prices?
Discussion
I've decided to buy a new van, a Citroen Xsara Enterprise (effectively a Xsara estate with 90hp 2.0Hdi motor, blacked out windows and no back seats), and rather than simply pay through the nose at my local dealer I'd like to use a broker or similar to get the best possible price.
Can anybody recommend a suitable broker, or do I simply have to phone around dozens of them?
Ask to speak to the van sales specialist (forget his name) at Citroen Birmingham, jolly nice bloke did my dad a cracking deal on a pre reg Berlingo 600 just over a year ago.
PS they are a Citroen GB owned dealership (so cuts out the middleman) he paid £6500+vat for a delivery mileage LX spec, and it wasnt the old model, brokers struggled to match that price at the time

Thanks. The salesman's name is Peter Dent and Citroen Birmingham are on 0121-766-7060.
Citroen are in any case offering a £2,000 cashback on this vehicle in an effort to ensure rapid depreciation of their marque, but Peter has offered me roughly another £1173 off of that - a very good price indeed. He has even agreed that his price will include delivery to me, in excess of 100 miles away. (All figures +VAT BTW.)
Gets my vote!
