Hi,

I have a kenwood car stereo that I bought many moons ago and am intending on putting it in a car I'm getting next month, however I have lost the outter edging of the stereo (the black bit of rectangular plastic surrounding the faceplate)

Any ideas on where, or how to get another one ??

Thanks for your help
Sorry for such a boring post but google is just taking me to pretty kettles & toasters!!

kenwoods warehouse is just off tollpits lane,watford.....it may be worth a try calling them direct as most car stereo firms will sell you the little bits.

Halfords also sell generic ones. I broke my Sony one removing it but a quick trip to Halfords meant i had a brand new one that looked identical and fitted nicely.

I went to Halfords either in Bicester or Aylesbury and just bought a generic one. They had about half a dozen different styles, all about £6 or so (may be wrong... this was about 2 years ago). On the back it had a list of model codes that fitted nicely.

Good luck
