E39’s-different flavours & a ST Fiesta

Dismantled the HVAC unit, cleaned but made no difference. Nicked the older style one out of the B10 and it all sprang into life. Bit of a relief really as if that hadn't worked I was stumped! Replaced that one back into the Alpina and ordered a 2nd hand unit of the 'bay for the touring.

Well good to hear it should be a simple swap. Clean the replacement before you fit it

I'm sure the replacement will need some titivation! I might swap the front plastic panel/buttons from mine to keep the condition age of the plastic the same as the rest of the dash.

B10 got some exercise today up to Stonehaven for a wee car show.
