Yeah, they do look really good. Obviously when I get the car back I'm going to have to do a night drive

So the headlights people said they noticed some leaks at the back caps so it's getting new back caps.... And finally for completeness it's getting new top caps too.

They said they'd send better photos later but here are a couple of before/after shots

Definitely got to do a night drive when I get it back

Further delay though, BMW now say delay on top mounts, now expected into UK tomorrow, so with the bank holidays etc I don't think I'll get it back until new year.

I'm having a bit of a mare at the moment. BMW have said the top mount due date has been delayed, it's now not due into Germany until January 10th!

They said they have one in stock so I think new plan is to get that shipped out, rebuild the car, and get it back in when the next top mount arrives.

I can't find any anywhere aside from some adjustable ones with are over 3x the price of those from BMW!

If anyone can find any please let me know 31302283650 is the part number!

ML won’t have them. They order from their local dealer for rare parts.

It says on the site estimated 3-4 days shipping. Cotswolds say no dealer has them. I've tried numerous different dealer networks and they've all said 10th Jan to Germany.....

EDIT - you say that, but I've just done a compatibility check by going onto the part and then BMW > 3 series coupe > 2011 > 3.0 > petrol as well as 2.0 petrol for "3 series 2011" and both have come back as incompatible....

So I found this on ebay:

That is the correct part number, and the diagram listed is the realoem diagram from my car. Ebay, however, saying it won't fit. I have ordered it but also messaged the seller.

It will arrive 28th Dec - 8th Jan. It's 2x the price of the one from BMW. BMW have said I can get a full refund if I find another elsewhere. I will obviously not cancel my order until I know full well this one fits.

What a faff.
