Watching the last episode of the 13th season of Top Gear I did enjoy the last part with the V12 Aston Martin Vantage driven by Clarkson across Snowdonia.

Can anyone be so kind to indicate what roads are worthy a "driving visit" in that area? The scenario was breathtaking indeed.

Thanks

RR

As I posted in the TV/Film thread.

And to watch it again...

The single track road where it crosses the bridge is (I think) the B4407 & B4391 (Afon Dwyryd) above Ffestiniog... Plus various others around Snowdon itself.

Just get yourself up there for a few days and explore. There are great roads everywhere.

just come back from there after my yearly holiday! a4086 is awesome road when it's not busy, it runs from (the best bit anyway) llanberis to capel curig. go very early in the morning for a blast! a543 is also a cracker just off the a5 i think it is, towards denbigh. as said above, just go exploring, you will find great roads everywhere.

in april me and a mate did a roughly 150 or so miles round trip and 90% of them were just brilliant driving roads...mind you, we had plotted the route and planned it before smile if you have a sat nav which can do coordinates, i can tell you them in the order we did them if you like?

Hi Ross, I'd be very grateful for a dummies guide indeed! Thank you.
