I'll be travelling to New Quay, West Wales friday evening from The Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. Anybody care to recommend me a route?

Oh yes.Get to Abergavenny,have a coffee in the bikers cafe at the bus station,head for llandovery,follow signs to New Quay.Great roads,if weather is quite good,watch for bikes.Enjoy.
