Morning all!

Off to North Wales for Easter - great time to be stuck behind caravans I am told

Easy question: Is it worth "escaping" from the main roads and heading to the Alwen R / Llyn B? Can you access them and are the views worth the expected pot holes!??

I was up there on Sunday last weekend, there were bikers everywhere and Plod was all over the place trying to catch them.
Be warned, Plod sees from Easter Bank Holiday through to August Bank Holiday as their speding cash cow period up around the triangle.
The radar operator I saw on Sunday afternoon was wearing what amounted to "camouflage clothing" (so don't expect to see a Hi Vis jacket in the distance) and was sufficiently well hidden off the road as to be invisible until it was too late.

However, the one thing that will warn you of an iminent speed camera will be the numerous people flashing their lights at you

Lake Brenig is easily approachable by car, I can't say it's the most picturesque lake around, but it's pleasant enough.
