I may have to be in Berlin for a couple of days and the dates
happen to be close to my holiday. Has anyone driven from the Channel
to Berlin recently? I'd be interested to know if it's interesting
and fast or slow and dull. Thanks.
Dunno. Never been there. This might help

The A2 seems to be mostly speed limit free, once
east of the Ruhrgebiet.
Yep, I've done it via Amsterdam. Not the fastest route but perhaps the most interesting (if you like canals and bars!). The German stretch was pretty plain as far as "sights" go but fast with plenty of deristricted sections. Took 3 hrs to the Dam and 6 hrs to Berlin IIRC.

Thanks folks. I will take a look and see how it goes. Guessed it may be flat out there.
