Grenoble - Low Emissions- Banned Vehicles

We are planning a French road trip in June and have scheduled an over night stop in Grenoble. We have some pre 1997 vehicles with us, Corniche, SL500, and Elan. Can anyone advise if it is a hard ban on vehicles registered pre 1997, even at weekends?

I belive a penalty-free educational period is in place until June 30, 2025,

Like most such zones it isn't active all the time. It works from 7-19:00 during weekdays only. Have a search for "ZFE Grenoble"
