Kent to Frome Sat 24th

Hello all.

Bored of the usual M20/M26/M25/M3/A303 business and the usual Stonehenge traffic on this route.

Any suggestions of slight detours that might make the drive a bit more interesting without adding on hours of driving?

Already dreading the M26/M25 roadworks due to it being bank holiday weekend. Tempted to go across to the A21 and upwards, then once off the M3 take a different route to normal. Leaving around 9am as our Airbnb isnt available until 4pm.

Get off the M4 and onto the A34 then onto the A30, follow that all the way to Salisbury, get on the A36 and follow that to Warminster before taking the A362 to Frome
