If you go down the Fosse Way (B4455) or A429 to Pillerton Priors, then carry on to Banbury. Once there go through the big roundabouts to the A423 to Southam, then can take the A425 back to Leamington. Those are good fast roads but there's loads of nice little country roads in that triangle.

Things to see and do along the way:
1. Ashorne village. Spot the heavily modified Bentley and RR. They've become something of a landmark in these parts.

2. Gilks' Garage Cafe. Always worth a stop, small and friendly. Serves some of the best coffee in the area.

3. Burton Dassett Hills. Great views to the west over the Cotswolds.Possibility of an ice cream van.
4. Chesterton Windmill. Another great vantage point, gets busy on a nice summer evening, but great sunsets.
Plenty of places if you want to pick an end point and have a short trip out too. Caffeine & Machine (A422 NW of Ettington), Broadway Tower at the northern extremity of the Cotswolds etc

Bike or car? If bike then FO there are enough annoying ones already.
TBH it's great around here in a car with plenty of passing spots but M11rph idea is also a heavy cycle route; especially edgehill routes which are top 100 UK for two wheeled folk.
B4100 is great and most cyclists avoid it but again it isn't as good as it used to be.
