High Weald/South Downs driving routes?

Looking for recommendations for a good 1 - 2 hour weekend drive route with some nice roads/scenery and a decent pub lunch to finish at.

Ideally somewhat centralish South of London as we'll have people coming from Kent, Surrey and London.
