Nurburgring Route

Hi all, off to the ring next week in the GT4. Normally just punch into the sat nav and take the most direct route but looking to see if anybody had any suggestions of a better or more interesting route? Will be getting a late ET on the Wednesday evening and staying just outside of Calais so ready for an early start. Tourist drives are open on the Thursday eve but no rush to get there really. Thanks!
