itn or gpx to Googlemaps?

Hi, anyone know an app/software that will convert .itn or .gpx to googlemaps?

I do not have a SatNav and use my Andoid phone for travelling routes. I am reasonably well versed in creating and following routes on Googlemaps.

However, when going on organised routes they come as .itn or .gpx files.

If you download either "routes" or "calimoto" from the app store, they will navigate gpx files directly as intended. Google maps, from my experience, will re route for the quickest route instead iv the intended, more interesting, gpx route.

Tomtom app can use GPX files, as can Garmin units.

You can get several satnav apps on your phone - I use CoPilot all the time and it is very good.

I could never use Googlemaps for a road trip - it has hardly any options for what type of route you want - fine if you just want to go on the motorway or a straight line. It only allows 10 waypoints, so even if you can import a route, it won't work if someone sends you a route with more than that. I go on regular runs with a local group and we rarely have less than 20 waypoints.

Invest a little in an app for your phone - essential for a real road trip :-)
