Hello All

I own a 2000 BMW 523i E39 which is not ULEZ-exempt. After some discussion on the E39 fb page, it turns out the car is actually ULEZ compliant and you can apply for ULEZ exemption with TFL providing you have a conformity letter from BMW.

I have the BMW certificate and applied for ULEZ exemption through the TFL website but this was 3 months ago and I still have not heard back. I have rang their service team multiple times who can do absolutely nothing to speed up the process other than escalate the request. I feel by now I must have the most escalated ULEZ request ever.

What can I do??? I urgently need the car in London and I can't even sell the car for a reasonable price without the ULEZ certificate.

Does anyone have a contact at TFL who I can get in touch with?

Matt

Better off posting this in General Gassing…

Would also be interested in a response.

Hi Matt, I have 2000 E46. It's a simple process to gain compliance. Are you all set now? I can run you through if you are still having problems.

Hello there. I also have a 2000 registered E46 323ci - I suspect this is compliant too? I have contacted BMW for a certificate of compliance and I am waiting now. Any other tips?
