Yes! Genius! What a road. I had a look with the intention of skiing. No snow in the end, but i couldn''t give a cack by the time i got there.

It’s an absolute belter isn’t it...... I drove Lossie over the Lecht and down to Braemar last week !

Stunning road and scenery !! Plenty of 911’s up there, a Lava Orange GT3 RS and a few turbos’s and Carreras !

I drove that road a couple of years ago, we followed a ropey old transit and he was hustling!

We drove the Lecht Road twice last summer and whilst it was enjoyable, it slowed our fully laden Riley too much to be our 'top rated Scottish road'; the only penalty of touring with limited horse power.

Heading further north we took the central route from Dingwall to Lairg and past the Crask Inn turning right at Altnaharra through Syre to Betty Hill and for us, that was better than the Lecht.
