Worldwide road trip.

My friend is planning a road trip to travel the world in his campervan, but he is struggling to get insurance, he has phoned many companies that provide only for Europe and not worldwide.

Any help is appreciated.

I imagine you might get more help from adventure/motorhome/overlanding forums.

From my limited knowledge, there are some providers who provide near universal worldwide cover. Many of these firms are US based, Clements springs to mind.

Or my view would be to treat each continent as separate and buy cover in each. You could buy UK/EU cover up to the European side of Turkey. I imagine you could get cover in Turkey up to Asia. Similarly some Spanish Insurers might cover North Africa.
