The last line is a bit of a warning... "Beware of the fines, because the police will ensure that this new provision is respected". You can bet that the gendarmes will be patrolling with extra enthusiasm seeing as this is a new rule that not many people will know about.

Gutted but after seeing the way some people drive on that section of road I can understand why this is happening. Another case of the minority spoiling something for the majority rolleyes

Cheers,
L'rs

That's a shame. frown

I drove along there in 2004 and every time I see a photo of it I regret not stopping to take a few!

Another case of idiot Youtubers and wannabe influencers ruining it for real car enthusiasts I suspect.

Mine from 2013, glad I got one now!

Definitely a case of the few idiots spoiling it for everyone else. Was looking forward to taking the Shelby next month, glad I've seen this as the gendarmes will be extra keen I suspect.

At least I got my 67 pictured a few years ago.

I'd like to visit this but it means driving in France, I generally drive straight out of France towards Belgium, last time I went to Italy I went via Germany and Austria.

Stopped there in march this year

Parked up for about 1 min, was having a look around while still in the car. Next thing I knew, blue lights flashing in front of me and a gendarme looking a bit grumpy from his car.

I gave an apologetic wave, gestured that I was going to drive off and was that ok, he said yes, I waved sorry again and off I went!

Was chucking it down with rain though so maybe he didn’t fancy getting out of the car and ticketing me

If you are just stopping for 5-10 minutes to take some photos you'd be unlucky to be there when a Policeman drove past.

I don't even think there is any signage saying no stopping etc.
