Hmmm.... not a bad road on a bike, although I usually come from the Mold/Ruthin end up to the Ponderosa and back.

A great road ruined by sheer stupidity... Not just from the councillors pushing the limit over literally thousands of objections (including those of a lot of local residents), but anyone who uses that road without any due care.

It was kept in good condition, well signed with corner chevrons etc, and not really a hazard. I'll be avoiding it once the limit changes, just run the Nant-Y-Garth and turn around.

With the Evo triangle ending up on average cameras there's a sizeable chunk of good roads round there for bikes now ruined.

Urgh, the age-old problem; making people go slower will reduce deaths, no question. But it also makes life VERY dull...

I always love the contradiction of everyone saying we are destroying the world because our huge population is using up all the resources BUT then they also desperately want to cut down on deaths from accidents/disease etc. Personally, I think Nature has it covered and we should leave her to it...

Indeed, unfortunately it's probably only once the Ponderosa cafe have laid off a bunch of people/gone bust, and it's quieter in Llangollen and therefore the town is struggling again that the council might realise their error.

They already put 50mph average cameras on the A5104 and spoilt another good road, so there's no point going that way from Ruthin/Chester way at all now really, unless you're just trying to pass through.
