UK Road trip route and fuel stops

I'm currently planning a weekend trip to North Wales with a couple of other cars.

Having plotted some draft routes using a GPS route mapping site, I'm keen to overlay fuel stations to these routes to ensure we know distances between them.

Can anyone suggest how best to do this apart from painstakingly plotting fuel stations onto the routes manually?

ViaMichelin has fuel stations on its mapping but I cannot import a route onto it and it doesnt allow manual route planning.

If you plan the route using 'google maps' you can then get a selection of options (petrol/hotels/service stations etc) click petrol and it will include them on your route
