Wales: North or South for best driving roads in a C63?
Discussion
Morning folks. I've off to Wales for 2 days of driving in mid September and I'm just planning my route. There are loads of great posts on here with route recommendations so I won't ask about that.
However, I did have a question about whether I should stick to the North (or South) for the best driving roads? I know 'best' means different things to different people (and depending on whether you're driving a Caterham or a large SUV), so to give some context I'll be driving a 2011 Mercedes C63 AMG Estate which performs best on wider, sweeping roads with decent-ish tarmac (narrow single tracks with a rutted surface just aren't fun in this car). I'm not too fussed about the scenery as I'll be by myself, and will be going back later this year with my wife and toddler for a family holiday.
Given I've got two days of driving, would you recommend I take in both the North (Snowdonia) and South (Brecon Beacons) roads? Or just stick to the North or South for both days?
Many thanks for all the suggestions.

My trip was for seeing family followed by a holiday. I drove to South Wales to visit them, then to Powys (mid-sh) for our holiday home, and north from there to visit snowdonia. We drove through the Brecon Beacons which had some lovely roads too.
It's fantastic visually around Snowdonia, my car is a similar one to yours.......except for the body shape....and engine size....and fuel - I had good fun though, despite almost never being able to give it the beans due to the fairly narrow roads/not knowing them and the weather. Traffic wasn't too bad.
Irrespective of speed I would recommend a lap of Snowdon and exploring the area as it's stunning.
Here is roughly what we intended to do around Snowdon, but turned around at Llanberis in search of food.
