Ultimate Drives app anyone used?
Discussion
Now lockdown has been lifted, although I can't do the usual of driving to germany / france etc. Will be visiting Wales with a mate of mine, no interest on driving fast etc, but will be driving across the Brecon Beacons, doing the usual roads around that region (and watching out for them pesky sheep). We did this about 5 years ago and have decided to revisit.
I downloaded the Ultimate Drives app - and it has a few different routes on there for this part of wales, and also has one going to devil's bridge etc. Now I have no problem in paying for it, but theres a £15.99 charge, but no idea if this gives 1 month - or lifetime access to routes etc so if anyone has used this please let me know.
We are only staying one night in Cardiff, so the plan is we arrive at the bottom of the black mountain pass, drive up that then towards devils staircase then across to Aberystwyth, have some lunch (about 2pm by looks of it), potter back, we will do a different route but do the black mountain pass the other way, then to hotel.
Following day I have a journey going across the brecon beacons planned, takes about 3 hours without stopping then drive home. I'm based in Swindon, my mates based not far from Exeter. Don't want to be driving all day.
Any worthwhile stop off points etc, been doing quite a bit of reading, and appreciate some of the roads are a bit narrow (golf R and Merc A45) so we should be fine.
