Hi All,

I'm off on my first European driving tour this summer and am looking for some advice on my route. In basic form its something like this>>

Calais - Chamonix - Martigny - Bormio - Nice...then the pyrenees..

Taking in the stelvio and col de torini, plus various other passes on route.

I've put the full route up on a little webpage I will keep up to date with our plans and progess/pictures and videos when we get going on the 26th of July.

If you have any suggestions please let me know!

Cheers,

Anthony

What is the origin of the britton's fascination for the Stelvio ? To me, it's one of the most over-rated alpine passes you can find, bumpy, narrow and boring on the eastern side, nice but not exceptional on the west side. Is it because it ressembles a poorly surfaced english B-road with a 3rd dimension added ?
