Kielder & Newcastleton
I'd agree with this, but cross the A7 at Canonbie and head cross country via Everton to Annan rather than following the A7/A75 as your sat nav will tell you. Will add 20 miles and half an hour to your journey compared to A69/A74 but you'll enjoy every minute of it.

Okay, so rough plan is A68 to West woodburn then head for Bellingham then Kielder. Onto Newcastleton and down to Canobie. Then hop onto A75 around Annan. Sound good?
I could avoid the A68 but it's a good stretch of road and I don't want to turn into too long a journey.
Yes, that's a nice route. Are you driving anything exiting?I could avoid the A68 but it's a good stretch of road and I don't want to turn into too long a journey.
