Anywhere you can see speed limits of roads on a map?
Discussion
I was having a conversation with a mate about good driving roads near us (around Manchester), and we thought there must be a map somewhere that shows the speed limits of roads.. as it would be cool to see the nearest curvy national speed limit road... But it seems there isn't?!
Found a couple of companies selling the data, but no one seems to have put it to use visually speaking.
I can see that Google provides the data for free via their Maps API - https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/r... - so theoretically, someone far techier than me could design something using the Maps API to do this.
Any takers!?

I don't see the point in what you are looking for.
But, if it's just to find a bendy road, then look at a map, online like Google or Bing and find what you think looks like a bendy road and then look at the streetview to see if there are any limit signs or street lights. Then you will know to a reasonable extent what the limit is.
Best places to look are outside city/town limits. A hilly area probably increases your chances as well.
But better still is just go out and drive.
