Morridge / Blakelow Road Staffs between A53 and B5053
Discussion
Returned across country from work yesterday rather than the motorways as it was shorter to save fuel.
Never been along this road before, what a spectacular road. i can't think of any others in mid England that foillow a ridge for such a long way (possibly a couple n the Cotswolds that follow brows of hills, but not a true ridgeline).
Is this the only "ridge road" in England? I can think of one in the Sierra Nevada in Spain but I guess when roads and mountains meet it is usually to get through the easiest gap / pass?
