Hey Guys,

We are going to have a short 4 day trip on the Eurotunnel to France for a weekend. We don't want to go too far into Frnace, hence the plan to stay around the Le Touquet/Le Havre/Normandy area.

Does anyone have any tips for:
- good roads
- good hotels
- good restaurants

Would be great to have some tips.

Thank you

I can help with Le Touquet..

La Perard, Le village Swiss, both excellent, lots to choose from and suits all budgets.

Westminster is a fine hotel, lots of booking.com and air b& b to chose from too.

montreuil sur mer Is also a quaint place to visit for the afternoon.

Amiens is also worth a visit.

D941 and D901 are good. Can recommend Froggy's Tavern in Montreuil Sur Mer (not a Tavern at all but a very nice restaurant). Charming wee village too.

I’d head for Rheims and the old GP circuit, or towards Lille. Both of those are as close as Normandy.

If you are going Normandy then honfleur is great for a weekend.

Old harbour port, great for hotels, looking around, dining.

It’s 90 mins from Le Mans if you want to visit museum

About the same from monet’s garden
