Best Austrian roads in Winter
Discussion
I’ve got a Roadtrip coming up next month (work dictates the time of year) and it’s mostly in Switzerland but might creep into Austria.
From part experience the winter passes that are open and the best are all around St Moritz (Ofen Pass, Moloja Pass, Bernina Pass, road past Livigno Lake after the toll tunnel) in Switzerland but any recommendations for any open passes in Austria?
Thanks in advance but I’m not expecting many (any?) responses based on not being the ideal time of year for the alps.
PS - I love driving in the Alps in winter when the car is prepped correctly.

Anywhere in Vorarlberg, really. The Bregenzerwald is particularly good driving country. Food's miles better than you'll get in Switzerland, Ausplod are fairly easy going and the whole place is absolutely stunning.
St.Gallen (CH) > Feldkirch > Rankweil >Zwischenwasser, then just head east. Zurs, Lech, etc etc all in the vicinity before you reach Tyrol. If you were to head South into the Montafon there is equally impressive scenery, but I've not driven much round there so I couldn't comment on that. The Lunersee is also worth seeing, but the road up there is extremely tight and you'll often get stuck behind the buses that run from Bludenz.
