M6 TRAFFIC APP

Hi can anyone recomend a website / mobile phone app that will tell me when the M6 is closed during the upgrade to smart motorway. have tried M6 traffic map live update and Traffic England both of which are useless as on more than one occasion after checking sites get to M6 only to find it is closed mainly jct 2 to 4 ! any help would be great thanks .

Waze and Google maps are pretty good for live updates , I'm not sure if this is what you're after or more for forward planning ?

You may as well call Mystic Meg rather than use the Traffic England App.

Waze is very good. It will eat your battery when in use but it's free and user defined.
