Reciprocal breakdown cover in USA?

I'm planning a road trip in the USA, from my normal highways in UK.
Here, and in Europe, I have RAC breakdown cover, and have found it excellent, but they do not have any reciprocal arrangment with a US breakdown service. Do any UK breakdown services have such cover?

If not any recommendations for US cover, please? (East coast to Ohio and back, if that is material)

The rental car companies normally have full breakdown cover included, or as an optional extra. Failing that, AAA is pretty good.
