Morning drive near Malaga

Next month I'm off to Malaga, and was wondering which were the best roads in the area for a 3-4 hour drive? Looks like there are countless twisty roads, but it would be good to know the standout ones.

To the west...

As a starter - Mijas (a few miles up the hill)

Then - Ronda (about 20 up the hill)

I used to drive up to the TV transmitter towers above Marbella, but they are all houses now.

I don't know anything about the Nerja side of Malaga.

I'm usually based in Marbella and use the 397 from San Pedro de Alcantara.

They would both be equally "good". I'd go up one and down the other.

If you go up the 397, just make sure that you have a car with enough ooomph to be able to overtake any trucks doing 25mph up a 1 in 10 in the 50 metres of visibility that you will have between the bends.
