Not much time for photos yet but here are a couple. The hotel is only about 30 miles from Santander but is obviously owned by a petrolhead. Note the 360 in the garage. There are posters and memorabilia everywhere, even models of bikes and cars in the reception.

Fantastic roads today. 172 miles and only 4 cars going in the same direction as me. Billiard table smooth roads most of the time and no, repeat no midges. After this, it'll be hard to find anywhere more satisfying, in Europe anyway.

Very jealous enjoy, it will be 2018 before we're back across. Looking forward to the Pyrenees again for sure.

Had an excellent day yesterday. Some great driving roads again and a visit to the Alonso museum at Oviedo. A very good display and cafeteria plus a go-kart track for those inclined. The privately owned ones were incredibly quick
