mirrors on a motorcycle
Discussion
i here alot of people wondering whether it is a legal requirement to have mirrors on a motorcycle, it is not, though mirrors do keep the rider more safe and aware it is not illegal to not illegal to not display them, personally i prefer not to have them, but that's just me, though for mot purposes you either have to have two fully safe and secure mirrors or none at all as having one mirror or having a broken, damaged or unsecure mirror is a straight fail so if one of your mirrors is any of the three either replace it or take both mirrors off of the bike.

So you prefer to have no mirrors....which may not be required but would make you safer. Even if you have no concern for yourself, reducing the risk that you will be involved in an incident would make others on the road safer.
Even if you are the best rider in the world incapable of making a mistake, the biggest threat to someone on a motorcycle comes from drivers who don't see you or people in cars driving like idiots. It is selfish in the extreme to put vanity ahead of doing everything possible to enable awareness mitigate such risks. If it was only you that could get hurt then such a choice doesn't matter, but because it poses a risks to others, it is just stupid.
Obviously you are prioritising style over substance given that you have a bike with a stupid position that undermines balance. But, just as you would (hopefully) not drive drunk because of the risk you could pose to others, think about how not having mirrors harms your awareness and whatever you may be willing to live with personally, the risk this poses isn't just to yourself.
