Planning to fullfill a long held dream about driving in alps in a classic car. As it is a bit far from Finland to drive mine over there, I am renting one from Nice. I have planned four driving days with total of about 460 to 500 kilometers for the whole trip. The planned route is from Nice to Rimplas via Col de Turini. Then to Barcelonette via Col de la Bonette. Then to Moustiers Sainte Marie via Castellane. The last bit would be back to Nice via Greolieres.

My co-driver is a new comer to the classic cars and convertibles. I am in the prosess of getting her acclimatized before the trip.. :-)
The drive will be a classic Alfa Giulia Spider with disc brakes and five speed gear box. The plan is the enjoy the sights, not to brake any rally stage records. Any advice from people who have perhaps done something similiar?

P.s. Google maps won´t draw the route from Col de la Bonnette to Jausiers, but it would look roughly like this: https://goo.gl/maps/B88M59HNkS92

P.p.s. It seems that you can´t edit the thread title for the typo. Must try harder the next time around..

Looks a great route (done most of it) but the classic route up Col du Turini is the road from Sospel (D2566). Follow your route to L'Escrene then take the D2204 (another epic road). Google maps often refuses to let me route over the Bonnett but the road is there.
Take care of the breaks on the descents.

Good point about Sospel. One idea would be to check the box on the Monaco GP circuit while on the way there? I wanted a classic, but I also wanted disc brakes for the decents. As Jerry Seinfeld said: "Living is good and dying is... not as good" :-)

Monaco is good but it takes ages getting in/out. You really need a day to take in the sights, walk and then drive the circuit. It's also expensive but we got a great deal on lunch by the harbour; 3 course plat du jour for 20euro.Good parking under Casino square.

Updated route to avoid retracing my tracks.
