Glasgow to Whitburn M8

Hi there- anyone used to driving from Glasgow East on the M8?
Considering living in the east end of Glasgow (dennistoun) and driving to Whitburn for work? Anyone know what the roads are actually like in the morning? I have to be in work for 9
Is this a realistic or hellish commute? Please help, thanks

It's not the worst, but the whole road is currently getting re-routed and upgraded. As long as there are no accidents or breakdowns you're looking around half an hour. Coming home may be more of an issue, but there's plenty of options.
