Hotels near Stuttgart.

I will be going on one of my many euro trips in September and, towards the end, I will be traveliing back from Rauris in Austria, towards the Nurburgring.
Has anybody got ant reccomendations for an overnight hotel stop in the Stuttgart area? Preferably not in the city but with car parking facilities.

We stayed in Tubingen, 20-30 mins or so from Stuttgart. Old University town, very pretty, good pub/brewery (Neckarmuller).

We stayed up the hill in the old town at the castle, Hotel Am Schloss. If you look at it on Google Earth you can see the parking in front of the hotel. It's not secure, but I had no problems. The hotel were very accommodating and made a member of staff move their car so I got a space!

Thanks for that, I'll take a look. Not concerned about secure parking just don't want to park in a public car park away from the hotel.
