A group of us will driving up to Angouleme from Bilbao through the hills, anyone done it? Got any must do/don'ts?

Are the speed limits enforced particularly?!

I remember driving Narbonne to Andorra in the old M3 and having a proper giggle...

Thanks in advance

Depends on how far east you are prepared to go.

N260 - As much of it as you can. The further East you go the better it gets. Avoid Andorra.

We entertained ourselves on the N260 May 2015, super road if not held up by the German bikers...
However, entering Planoles we encountered a police operation and nothing passed without a 150euro ticket.
Very polite and just paid by card machine - they were all geared up for it!

Still well worth it though smile

Base yourself in Vielha and you are surrounded by fab roads, personally I no longer drive much of the N260, still a great road though.
By the Michelin map of the Pyrenees and do not discard 'C' roads as they are usually empty and Tarmac just as good as anything else, plus no cops.
Enjoy, you will hate UK roads when you get back
