Europe road trip Monza?

Hi we are planning a Europe road trip and we basically pass monza and thought it would be a shame not to stop and see the place. we just happen to be passing on a saturday so i looked on there website to see if they had a race weekend on but they are having a 12 hour cycling endurance race, not really my cup of tea so just thought i would ask if its worth stopping off to see the place or is they really nothing else there?

if your going to be there then call in and see the old track

we went in 2013 for the F1 race and it's a great place just to have a wander about

I stopped a night in Monza when on my road trip and took the car over. Had some sort of family thing going on it the back of the pits but had a wander round, got a photo of me wearing my pistonheads t-shirt stood on the finish line somewhere. I'd recommend having a look over and try to time it once there is nothing in track as you can walk around everywhere
