Leeds to Abersoch?

As the title, going to Abersoch from Leeds next Thursday and would like to enjoy a scenic route/good driving roads if possible! Will be taking my Boxster :-D

Any suggestions much appreciated.

For the welsh bit of the journey head to Bala there are some lovely mountain roads from there across to trawsfynndd

Thanks! Will aim for that, it's not too much longer according to google maps than heading along the north coast edge.

Don't miss out the eastern half of the B4391. From Llyncys on the A483 south of Oswestry go via the A495/B4396/B4391 to Bala.
The section from Llangynog across the Berwyns to Bala is one of the best roads in North Wales.
