Davos - Advice on driving roads in the area
Discussion
I'm looking for suggestions and offerings of the best and interesting roads and areas to drive in and around Davos, Switzerland.
Just to set the scene, I'm flying down to Munich with my 10-year-old son for a father and son driving trip, we are going in a weeks time.
We got a Jaguar F type booked for the week, but actually going to be there just for 5 days. ( It's booked for the week so that we got excess mileage to use).
I've got a stunning house available sitting on the edge of a lake in Davos for as many days as I need to use it, so plan to use it as a base to come back to each day.
I've been over that way before, so I've done Stalvio and Umbrai pass. We also drove the "28" from umbrai to zernez and a few other roads in the area, but it really was a quick whistlestop tour. This was all last year when I flew into Munich and rented a Boxster S but just 3 days. We had a blast, hence going back this year with my son.
So any advice, directions and tips would be fantastic.
I'm also happy to consider just bending a couple of days in Davos and then grabbing a couple of extra nights in hotels further afield if the trip and the roads are worthwhile.

Hi Jeremy,
have a look here, 8 passes around Davos, but AFAIK there are always road-works going on...the vid is from a biker, but gives you a nice impression;-)

If you want a nice hotel near Davos (with underground parking..), here:

Always a nice meeting-point with PH-people, as I live down the valley....
Have a nice trip
