Hi,

Anyone do this route?

Looking at a job in Cambridge. Google maps seems to suggest around 1hour 30mins.

Or is that too optimistic?

Thanks.

i can, 'on a clear run' do basildon to cambridge services on the a14 in an hour and a half, and thats in a wagon at 56mph max smile

your tricky bit in the morning will be j28, to the m11, if you clear that, the m11 north should be clear most days, as majority of traffic is heading south.

occasional traffic can get busy at the stanstead, a11, and some cambridge exits, but on the whole it seems ok.
just watch out for dheads in lorries elephant racing.

Yeah that's a drive, thanks for the tip. I'll make a dry run if I go forward just to see.

Hoping to be a bit quicker in the car.

I turned the job down. Decided that the work/life balance just wasn't worth it.

Thank you for the replies though.
